Installation instructions for AS-9 Amalgam Separator
Central Vacuum System: 2-4 chairs
1. Install the ASDEX Manifold Head Assembly (2000D) in a location as
close to vacuum pump as practical.
2. The system needs to be mounted in a vertical position.
3 Do not remove ty-wrap from manifold until manifold installation is complete.
4. Use mounting bracket (MBK-1) to mount manifold.
5. Out port (note arrow) goes to vacuum pump, in port (note arrow) goes to vacuum line leading to dental operatory.
6. Remove and save the two disposal caps from the ASDEX Separator.
7. Before installing ASDEX AS-20 Amalgam Separator remove ty-wrap from manifold head assembly.
Chair Side: Single Chair
1. Install the ASDEX Manifold Assembly near chair.
2. The system needs to be mounted in a vertical position.
3. Do not remove ty-wrap from manifold until manifold installation is complete.
4. Use mounting bracket (MBK-1) to mount manifold.
5. Out port (note arrow) goes to vacuum pump, in port (note arrow) goes to mouthpiece.
6. Remove and save the two disposal caps from the ASDEX Separator.
7. Before installing ASDEX AS-20 Amalgam Separator remove ty-wrap from manifold head assembly.
